Observing Earth: Using Satellite Data for International Development

An August 2 article in New Security Beat, the blog of the Wilson Center’s Environmental Change and Security Program, features SERVIR and the Wilson Center’s recent panel discussion of the SERVIR project, which included insights from USAID’s soon-to-be-released evaluation.  The article highlights some of SERVIR’s successes in providing real-time, actionable data to decision-makers, noting that ‘Earth observation data and the SERVIR model are game-changers in the development field.’  Read the full article here.
