    Science Coordination Office Graduate Research Assistant

    Kelsey is a graduate student in the Department of Atmospheric Science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She has a background in archaeology, where she studied human-environment interactions in Central America and the southeastern United States. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, trying new foods, and practicing Spanish.

      Susan holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning and Management from Kenyatta University and is currently a master of Earth System Science student at UAH. At SERVIR, she is involved with developing story maps on land cover maps assessment. She enjoys hiking and being involved in community work.

        Thailynn Munroe

        Science Coordination Office Graduate Research Assistant

        Thailynn holds a bachelor's degree in Atmospheric Science from Cornell University, and is currently a graduate student in Earth Systems Science at UAH. She has Thai heritage and is excited to be working with SERVIR on projects in the Mekong River Basin. In her free time she enjoys reading, crafting, and outdoor activities.

          Brian is a graduate student in Earth System Science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and a research assistant for SERVIR. His research interests include wildfire effects on biodiversity and human impacts on ecosystems. In his spare time, he enjoys spending quality time with his wife and daughter. Also, he is an avid baseball fan and guitar player.
