    Kelsey is a graduate student in the Department of Atmospheric Science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She has a background in archaeology, where she studied human-environment interactions in Central America and the southeastern United States. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, trying new foods, and practicing Spanish.

      Ronan holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts in Geography, and is currently a graduate student studying Earth System Science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. He serves as the graduate research assistant for the SERVIR-Hindu Kush Himalaya region, and his research focuses primarily on assessing agricultural

        Science Coordination Office Graduate Research Assistant

        Andrea holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering from the Fluminense Federal University in Brazil, and is currently a graduate student in Earth System Science at the University of Alabama in Huntsville. She is the Graduate Research Assistant for the SERVIR-Amazonia hub and her research focus is on assessing gold mining activities and its effects on the Peruvian Amazon. In her free time she enjoys hiking, traveling, and keeping in touch with family and friends from Brazil.

          Katharine Egan

          Katharine Egan

          Intern -- Science Coordination Office

          Katharine is a graduate student at the University of the Virgin Islands. She has a background in coral reef ecology and quantitative ecology, where her thesis research is focused on mapping threatened coral populations. This summer she is interning at SERVIR through NASA where her research focus is on mapping landslides in the Lower Mekong region. In her free time, she enjoys running, reading, hiking, and scuba diving.
